13th March Fifth Sunday of Lent Ezek. 37. 1-14 Rom. 8. 6-11 John 11. 1-45 Jesus is the resurrection and the life. He can transform death and despair, in any form, into life and hope.
20th March Matt. 26.-27. 54 Palm Sunday Jesus rides into Jerusalem cheered by the crowds. Days later crowds will be clamouring for his death.
27th March Easter day Acts 10. 34-43 Col. 3. 1-4 Matt. 28. 1-10 It is true. Jesus is alive for all time. The Lord of life cannot be held by death. God's victory over sin and death means that new life for us is a reality.
Women’s World Day of Prayer 4th March 2005 Women’s World Day of Prayer is a worldwide movement of Christian women who come together to observe a common day of prayer held on the first Friday in March each year, and who, in many countries, have a continuing relationship in prayer and service. The theme of this year’s service is ‘Let Our Light Shine’. There will be a service in this Parish and one in the benefice of Winfrith, Chaldon and the Lulworths. Lent Course Was the road that led Jesus to the cross joyfully embraced or stoically endured? Does his journey have anything to say about the struggle we also face to do God’s will? If you want to explore how we can follow in Jesus’ footsteps, committing ourselves to God’s will for us, coping with temptation and emotional turmoil, and staying the course through the hardest times to a remarkable outcome, come along and join one of the Lent groups.

Lent Lunches Wool Churches Together will be serving a lunch of bread and soup at the Methodist Chapel on Wednesdays during Lent at 12.00 noon. Do come along and join us. All contributions will go to CAFOD and Christian Aid
Service of a different kind . . . Church Spring Clean on Saturday March 12th Can you spare some time on Saturday March 12th to help spring clean the church? We are meeting at 10.00am. The more helpers we have the better. Tea/ coffee will be provided, and a lunch of soup and bread.
