The Heating System (is dead - long live the new heating system)
The church was until recently heated by an old and unreliable boiler, which had lovingly been nursed back to life numerous times over the past few years. Unfortunately it chose to break down in last winter's cold weather. We saved up for, and have bought, a complete new heating system costing in the region of £30,000. We had been allocated grants to the tune of £15,000, and raised approximately £6,000 from local fund raising events.
The KitchenThe kitchen area at the back of the church is now plumbed in, and in operation.
The LooOur next project is more ambitious - it's to re-grade the path up to the church and to install our church building's very first toilet. (The toilet will be in a separate building located outside.) All donations would be very gratefully received!
