Our vision is to be a church without walls, moving people towards Christ, where we live, work and play

We seek to do this through the whole range of church activities.

Each year the PCC spends time together reviewing them and listening to one another and to God to discern what our priorities for the future. We break our activities down into three areas while recognising there is a significant overlap between them. They are:

bulletFinance, Administration and Buildings
bulletWorship, Fellowship and Discipleship
bulletChurch in the Community, e.g. social events and fund-raising

We aim for a rolling three year programme that sets out key areas for us to focus our efforts.

Plans for 2017

As we seek to be a church without walls, moving people towards Christ, where we live, work and play, we want to:

Worship God;

Share Christ with others; and

Care for the wider community.

Caring for the Community

Caring for the Community has two main themes this year:

bulletPromoting and supporting events that bring communities together in all parts of the parish, from Pop-up Breakfasts to helping with events run by other organisations.
bulletCompleting the access provisions for the churchyard extension and making changes to the rear part of the church to make attending church easier for anyone in a wheelchair or with children in child buggies, will allow us to gather around the font more easily and create a more flexible space for offering hospitality, hosting informal services and small meetings.

Sharing Christ

Sharing Christ will focus on developing Revive into a twice monthly service for all ages together, and especially for families with children, and ongoing review of other services and ways in which we can enable others to encounter God.
