Benefice Office HoursSue, our Benefice Administrator is working both from home and the office and has flexible working hours, currently Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday as follows: Tuesdays 9-12 Wednesdays 9-12 Thursdays 1:30 – 4:30 The Benefice Office is not routinely open for visitors at the above times – so please phone in advance rather than just turn up, so we don’t have multiple visitors all at once. Volunteers will also open the office each Thursday morning between 10am and 11.30am. On Thursday mornings no appointments are needed - but only one visitor or couple in the room at a time please, and wear a mask if possible.

Who's Who
IncumbentOur Parish (and Benefice's) Vicar is Rev Canon Richard Bartlett
Canon Richard was installed on Thursday 7th April 2022. He came to us with wide experience, and knows Purbeck well. He was ordained in Salisbury and made priest in Wareham, where he and his wife Jenny were married.

Apart from a period in the Swanage and Studland area, he has worked as an Associate Vicar in Ealing, as a missionary in Brazil with USPG, as Vicar of Holy Trinity Northwood, and as Director of Mission Engagement at the Anglican mission agency USPG based in central London. Before coming to West Purbeck Benefice, he spent 8 years in parishes on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada.
