ADULTS

Afternoon Home Group

Meets fortnightly on 2nd and 4th Thursday afternoons for study, prayer and fellowship at 2.30 pm, at 3 Lampton Close. More information from John Matthews (462128).

New Evening Fellowship Groups

Our new Evening Fellowship Groups meet weekly at 7.30-9.00pm for exploration of the Christian faith, fellowship and prayer in an informal setting.

The Monday Group, led by Judy Hill & Brenda Edwards, alternates between 18 The Poppies, Purbeck Gate, and 23 Hillside Road. More information from Judy Hill (462888).

The Wednesday Group, led by Chris Corteen and John Underwood, starts on 12th October, alternating between “Pippins”, Giddy Green Lane and 11, Lawrence View. More information from Chris Corteen (462642).

Methodist

There is a Methodist Church Bible Study every other Thursday afternoon at 2.30pm meeting in the Chapel, and we are all welcome to join our Methodist friends in this.

Come and enjoy company and tea on alternate Tuesday afternoons, with Thought For The Day.

Prayer meeting

Meets on Thursday evenings - except for the 1st Thursday when there's the Healing Service instead.

Held at 7.00 pm in Church.

Almost every Sunday at 10am in the School next door to Holy Rood.

Bell Ringing

As you will see from the history, Holy Rood has a fine tower of bells. The practice night is Tuesday, from 7.30pm to 9.00pm. New ringers are welcome to come along and learn. Visitors are welcome to come and ring. Teams of ringers visit the tower during the year, arrangements can be made with Alan Brown, tel: 01929 462761.
