There are three Holy Rood home groups. These are held on Monday and Wednesday evenings, and Thursday afternoons; times as follows:

Evening Groups

Our two Evening Fellowship Groups meet weekly at 7.30-9.00pm for exploration of the Christian faith, fellowship and prayer in an informal setting.

The Monday Evening Group, led by Judy Hill & Brenda Edwards, shared between 23 Hillside Road; 9, High Street Close; and 1, Vicarage Close. More information from Judy Hill (462888), and on the group's page here.

The Wednesday Evening Group, led by John Underwood, alternates between “Pippins”, Giddy Green Lane, East Burton, and 11, Lawrence View.

Afternoon Group

The Thursday Afternoon Group meets fortnightly on 2nd and 4th Thursday afternoons for study, prayer and fellowship at 2.30 pm, at 3 Lampton Close, Wool. More information from John Matthews (462128).

Young Mums

"Girls in Fellowship Together"

This is a young mums' group that meets in term time at the home of Mrs Pauline Matthews (01929 462128). From 7.30 until 9pm on the first and third Thursdays each month, we chat, have tea or coffee and cake. We end with a thought for the day and a prayer.

All mums are welcome. Next one starts Thursday 1st September.

Whether or not you are a young mum, your prayers for this group would be very welcome.

There is a Methodist Church Bible Study every other Thursday afternoon at 2.30pm meeting in the Chapel, and we are all welcome to join our Methodist friends in this.

Visitors are welcome to come and ring. Teams of ringers visit the tower during the year, arrangements can be made with Alan Brown, tel: 01929 462761.
