IIIa - Vision Weekend: 26th October - Community Groups Evening
Following the teaching series, the Parish Church Council met on Friday evening 26th October 2007, inviting representatives from various groups from the wider community to talk with us about how they viewed our community and its strengths and its weaknesses, and how the Church might be involved in it. IIIb - Vision Weekend: Saturday 27th October - Church Away DayBringing all the above together, we met with a facilitator (Robert McLeish) to identify and to discuss the needs and priorities for Holy Rood, and to plan the direction and goals we are aiming for.
Diana, Jane, and Chris (fuelled only by a lot of prayers, several flipcharts, and a few biscuits) are sent away to try to make sense of what God has been saying to us.Afterwards, Rhona and Robert examine the output. (They had the benefit of our prayers and our flipcharts - but they seemed to manage without the biscuits.)
