PAST EVENTSLentWhat difference does being a Christian make to your life - and what difference should it make? During Lent we are looking at ways in which commitment should manifest itself: in a quality of love, a spontaneity of witness, a disposition of joy, a generosity of spirit, and a vibrant inner faith. Come along and join with us as we look at our relationship with God and the difference it makes to our lives. If you want more information or details please contact Judy (462888)

Week of Prayer for Christian UnityWool Churches Together, 3.00 pm at St. Joseph’s, Sunday 21st January ‘He even makes the deaf to hear and the mute to speak’. Mark 7:37 This year the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity brings together two themes, two invitations to Christina Churches and people, to pray and strive together for Christian Unity, and to join together in responding to human suffering. These two responsibilities are deeply intertwined, both relate to healing the body of Christ, hence the text chosen for this years Week of prayer for Christian Unity is a story of healing.
Joint Covenant Servicewith our Methodist friends, in Holy Rood Church at 11.00am, Sunday 14th January From the earliest days of the Methodist Societies, John Wesley invited the Methodist people to renew their covenant relationship with God. This was an opportunity for all of us to join with friends from the Methodist Church in Wool and to do the same - both individually and together, to renew our own special relationship with God. This is the Covenant Prayer we said together at the service: The Methodist Covenant Prayer I am
no longer my own but yours. And
now, glorious and blessed God, This was a beautiful and thought-provoking service, held (very appropriately) close to the start of the New Year. A great opportunity to start 2007.
