Church Fete

1st July 2006

Once again, the High Street Close residents generously allowed their street to be used for the fete. The weather was beautiful - here is the proof!

And afterwards, a barbeque was held . .

Church Heating . . (Update)

Work was well underway on the new heating system, and should be completed by the beginning of September. We can all look forward to a warm winter in Holy Rood, and no last minute panics on Sunday mornings dealing with the boiler. Many thanks to all those who have helped to dig and fill trenches, and keep the church clean during the project.

A special thanks to John Williams, churchwarden, who has masterminded the project, and has spent many hours meeting contractors, sourcing grants, as well as doing many practical tasks both inside and outside the church.
